Microtubes – Modern Bass Overdrive & Preamp

The Microtubes family covers everything from compact drives to full-featured preamps. Microtubes B1K is a tiny, powerful CMOS-based overdrive that distils Darkglass’ core grind into a pedal that fits in a pocket. Microtubes X and X7 take a multiband approach – splitting your signal into low and high bands so you can compress the lows for consistency while adding controlled distortion to the highs for attack and presence. The X7 adds graphic EQ and DI, making it a full preamp for live and studio use.

For players who want a full-featured front end, the Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 and B7K V2 combine the classic Microtubes dynamic saturation circuit with a four-band active EQ, balanced DI and, on the Ultra version, additional mid-frequency switches, headphone out, aux in and cab simulation options. Vintage Series – Classic Tube-Style Warmth

Vintage Microtubes delivers the warm, tube-like character of classic 60s/70s bass amps and tape machines – natural compression, rounded highs and a more “vintage” response than the more aggressive Microtubes circuits. Vintage Deluxe V2 and Vintage Deluxe V3 take that tonal core and add a 4-band active EQ, parallel output and balanced line driver for much greater control and flexibility, fitting four decades of familiar bass tones into a gig-bag friendly box.

Alpha Omicron & Alpha Omega Ultra – Dual Engine Distortion

Alpha Omicron captures the double distortion engine of the larger Alpha Omega in a smaller, more affordable format. It blends two distinct drive circuits (Alpha and Omega) for everything from tight, punchy bass grind to huge, saturated distortion, while still letting you mix clean and dirt for note definition. Alpha Omega Ultra V2 adds a six-band graphic EQ, dedicated headphone output, aux in and cab sim / Darkglass Suite integration, turning it into a complete bass preamp and practice solution in a single pedal.

Hyper Luminal – Hybrid Compressor

Hyper Luminal is a hybrid compressor that combines an analogue VCA audio path with digital side-chain modelling. It offers multiple “models” of classic compressor topologies (including Darkglass’ own bus compressor style) that you can switch between, while still keeping your signal analogue. With blend control, ratio and timing options, it can run from subtle level smoothing to more obvious, punchy compression – ideal both as a front-end tone shaper and for evening out dynamics before hitting your drives.

Element, Infinity & Darkglass Suite

Element is a compact headphone amp and cabinet simulator that works with bass, guitar or any line-level source. It offers multiple cab IRs, touch controls and Bluetooth audio for silent practice and recording, and integrates with Darkglass Suite software so you can load your own IRs and manage presets. Microtubes Infinity is a multi-engine bass “station” that combines several Microtubes voices, flexible routing, IR cabinet simulation, USB audio and deep editing via Darkglass Suite, making it an incredibly powerful all-in-one solution for live and studio work.
