Jackson Audio
Jackson Audio design premium, multi-function pedals in Keller, Texas, led by Brad Jackson (Jackson Ampworks) alongside Nigel Hendroff and Juan Kyle. Their focus is on modern, player-friendly designs that combine several high-quality circuits in one box – think boost + EQ + preamp, compressor + EQ + boost, or full overdrive platforms with MIDI control.
At Guitar FX Direct we stock key Jackson Audio pedals including the Prism buffer/boost/preamp/EQ & overdrive, Bloom V2 compressor/EQ/boost, Twin Twelve Silvertone 1484 preamplifier and the Broken Arrow V2 MIDI overdrive with built-in boost – all available in the UK with free delivery and a 30-day no-quibble returns policy.

Why we like Jackson Audio
Jackson Audio pedals are built for players who want modern flexibility without sacrificing feel. Rather than making single-purpose boxes, they specialise in “hub” pedals – a boost that’s also an EQ and preamp, a compressor that also includes EQ and a blooming boost, an overdrive platform with full MIDI and built-in boost, or an amp-preamp in a stompbox. The result is fewer pedals doing more work on your board.
Prism – Buffer, Boost, Preamp, EQ & Overdrive
Prism is designed as the ultimate tone-shaping tool. It’s a buffer, boost, preamp, EQ and overdrive in one compact stainless steel enclosure. Three discrete boost circuits (Colour, Amp and Transparent) plus three gain ranges let you move from subtle tone enhancement to heavy push, and the active 2-band EQ (Body and Tone) offers ±15 dB of cut/boost. Use it as your always-on preamp, a powerful boost into your drives, or as a flexible OD/EQ at the front of your chain – it’s “Photoshop for guitar” for a reason.
Bloom V2 – Optical Compressor, EQ & Blooming Boost
Bloom V2 is much more than a simple compressor. At its heart is a smooth, musical optical compressor designed to add subtle sweetness and a “mastered” feel to your tone, but it also includes a powerful 3-band active EQ and a flexible boost circuit. Six compression presets are accessible from the footswitch and can be controlled via MIDI, while the Bloom function lets you apply a boost that ramps in over time – great for expressive swells or lifting lead lines without harsh transients. It’s a full dynamics and tone-shaping workstation in one pedal.
Twin Twelve – Silvertone 1484 Preamp / Overdrive
Twin Twelve is a part-for-part recreation of the preamp section from the classic 1960s Silvertone 1484 Twin Twelve amplifier, reimagined with JFETs instead of valves. Co-designed with Silvertone, it captures the unique clean and overdriven tones of the original amp and can be used as a studio-grade preamp, booster, EQ or overdrive, depending on how you set the controls. Use it to bring those famous Silvertone sounds to any clean amp, into a power amp, or even straight to a cab sim/IR loader.
Broken Arrow V2 – MIDI Overdrive with Built-In Boost
Broken Arrow V2 is a highly flexible overdrive platform that gives you four selectable clipping presets, an innovative Gain Cycle feature and a full 3-band active EQ. The clipping presets range from low-gain “ampy” breakup through to tighter, more compressed drive, so one pedal can cover several classic OD flavours. Gain Cycle lets you access different gain levels within a single preset from the footswitch, and there’s also a built-in MOSFET boost circuit derived from the Prism, so you can stack boost and drive without extra pedals. MIDI control means all these options can be recalled as presets in a more complex rig.
Between them, Prism, Bloom, Twin Twelve and Broken Arrow can form the core of a very compact but extremely capable board: preamp and tone-shaping (Prism/Twin Twelve), dynamics and EQ (Bloom) and flexible drive/boost (Broken Arrow). If you’re unsure which Jackson Audio pedal, or combination, best fits your rig and playing style, drop us a message and we’ll happily talk you through the options.
