Black Arts Toneworks Sarcophagus
Introducing the new, limited edition Black Arts Toneworks Sarcophagus Fuzz!
The Sarcophagus takes two massive circuits and joins them into one unit, saving space, cabling and power. The Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh and LSTR into one, seraphic enclosure.
Pharaoh & LSTR Combined
The Pharaoh and LSTR are both present, with the addition of a toggle to reverse effect order.
The Pharaoh is an extremely versatile fuzz, capable of everything from light overdrive to all-out, fuzzy clipping.
The LSTR is a more straightforward – a beefy muff with equally varied EQ capabilities.
Silicon and Germanium
The Sarcophagus has two sets of clipping diodes:
- Silicon diodes for a more modern raspy distorted sound & more volume, headroom and less clipping.
- Asymmetrical germanium clipping diodes give a valve-type warmth
- Great for “scooped” low-middle metal sounds
The circuit has the clipping segments with the second offering a selection of silicon, germanium, or no further diode-based clipping
Controls
The order of the circuits can be switched for even more tonal options. Use the Pharaoh side to add some extra grit to your fuzzy signal or push the front end of your LSTR into oversaturated distortion.
With a low price to boot, the Sarcophagus is an unruly pedal, taking your tone to the underworld
Built especially for the gain freaks, those who love more. More gain, more low end, more volume. A pedal of unruly proportions, taking your tone to the underworld.
Here are demos of the Pharaoh and LSTR.
This pedal operates on a Standard 9VDC power supply. No battery connection.
