Description:

The Cusack Screamer V2 is a “clean” overdrive but has about twice the gain of a typical Tube Screamer.

Many TS-style pedals come off as “mid-rangey” or “muddy”, making them easy to get lost in a mix.

This is where the Screamer offers much more clarity than a typical overdrive.

The V2 Screamer is meticulously thought out for maximum tonal definition.

You can actually hear the individual notes of complex chords that are often buried. Many players consider the Cusack Screamer to be the best option in a crowded field for good reason!

It is also more flexible than the green Ibanez pedal which inspired it. A three-position toggle switch selects different types of clipping modes. These are standard, “crushed,” and asymmetrical LED clipping.

Controls

• LEVEL – Adjusts the overall level of the pedal.
• TONE – Adjusts the overall tone of the pedal.
• DRIVE – Adjusts the gain of the pedal. Fully CCW is no gain, fully CW is about twice the gain of a typical
  Overdrive pedal.
• CLIP SELECTION – Select between 3 clipping diode options. Left is silicon, right is Schottky, and centre is asymmetrical
• LED. Different diodes cause the overall level to change, so you may have to adjust LEVEL after moving the Clip Mode Toggle.
• CLIP LED – This is the LED above the Toggle Switch. When in
• LED Clip Mode, this LED will follow your guitar playing. The brightness will vary depending on guitar pickups and Drive settings and does not light up at low gain settings.
• BYPASS – Kick the switch to turn the effect on and off
• STATUS LED – In bypass, the LED is either green or off, depending on how you set it up. We ship it out with the LED green in bypass. To switch off in Bypass, hold the switch down. The LED blinks, letting you know you have changed this setting.

The LED is RED when on. When the battery is dying,  the light blinks a couple of times each time you engage or bypass the effect.
