The Death By Audio (DBA) Apocalypse is a five mode fuzz, overdrive, and distortion pedal . So, five different gain circuits that you select via a rotary switch, plus a sweepable EQ t that reshapes each mode’s frequency.
It covers more ground than most single circuit drive pedals, and at lower gain settings with the tone dialled in it can function as a clean boost.

The Five Modes
Twin-T Scoop: A scooped mid character with a pronounced notch in the midrange — the most open and hi-fi sounding of the five modes.
War Fuzz (Square Wave): Derived from DBA’s Fuzz War circuit, itself reminiscent of the Civil War Muff. Prominent midrange, higher output than Scoop mode, resonant and sustaining.
Dual J-FET: Similar character to War Fuzz but with higher output and less resonance. More aggressive attack.
Octave Rect: An articulate octave-up fuzz — tracking and harmonic content rather than brute saturation.
Gain x1000: Very high gain, thick, super compressed distortion.
