Death By Audio Fuzz War
The Death By Audio fuzz War is a kill all circuit explodes the meanest, nastiest, most insane distortion to make you the ruler of the fuzz universe.
This Death By Audio pedal has hand spray painted graphix covering up meaty components and sound, giving you a high-tech fuzz mutilator at a punk rock price.
With three knobs it can create a multitude of ultimate fuzz, boost, overdrive, and distortion sounds. Listen for yourself and you will see, this is the thickest sounding sustaining fuzz pedal we have ever heard.
This can be a precise and detailed fuzz sound , if needed, especially if you are the type to think that some fuzz pedals are just too messy. The sound is not so scooped as the Big Muff
Of course, this pedal can do a lot more than just “detailed” sound.
For instance, it is excellent with bass guitar and retains a very coherent fuzz at quite extreme levels.
While the Fuzz War has three knobs just like a Big Muff Pi, the tone knob controls DBA’s specially designed multi-curve shaping. This means that the tone knob controls the timbre of the output. The manufacturer says this lets you get a range of tones from “super deep bass sludge to screaming highs.”
(The little ramp graphic) Controls the overall output volume of the pedal.
Controls the drive or gain of the fuzz circuit. At it’s lowest setting the pedal just acts as a tone shifter. As the fuzz knob is turned up it sweeps from a booster to an overdrive to a thick distortion to a full on blown out war of fuzz.
A specially designed multi-curve shaping filter which changes the timbre of the pedal from super deep bass sludge to screaming highs.
