The Death By Audio (DBA) Micro Dream is a compact digital delay with an analogue character. It’s a smaller version of the Echo Dream 2, sharing the same warm, naturally degrading delay character in a more pedalboard-friendly enclosure.
The result is a warm, organic degradation of the signal with each repeat, a very different character from digital delay, which repeats cleanly and precisely. The Micro Dream leans into that character.
The repeats feel natural and musical, with a gentle rounding of the high frequencies as they fade.

Introducing lo-fi chirps and noise as the delay chip runs out of headroom. This is intentional, and it’s where the Micro Dream’s most characterful sounds live. The internal trimpot sets the feedback point, determining how aggressively the circuit moves toward self-oscillation when the F Back knob is pushed.

DBA deliberately push the delay chip outside its specifications to access these sounds. They’re not a fault; they’re a feature.
