Fuzzrocious Demon
The Fuzzrocious Demon is a low to medium-high gain drive with distortion-like capabilities.
With the gate/boost mod, it jumps into the gated fuzz range!
The Demon can do the “just on the verge of breakup” thing at low drive settings or a pushed amp sound at higher drive settings.
It has some nice tweaks here and there. This pedal just makes your instrument sound “right.”
Pedals may vary slightly from the one pictured, because they are hand made.
Please note – The Demon is the same pedal/circuit as the pedal formerly known as “Oh See Demon.” We changed the name for potential product confusion reasons.
Controls
- VOLUME – makes the output of the circuit louder or quieter.
- TONE – moves from bass to treble when turned clockwise. There is a general low mids presence in most tone settings with little to no bass loss.
- DRIVE – moves from a little to no drive/gain to medium-high drive/gain when turned clockwise.
Power
Fuzzrocious Pedals’ products do not support batteries due to the risk of damage to the unit and ecological concerns related to the use and disposal of batteries. It is the customer’s responsibility to power the pedal with a 9V DC 2.1mm center negative tip adaptor that will not be provided by Fuzzrocious Pedals, LLC.
Paintwork
All handpainted pedals, unless otherwise specified are painted with enamel or acrylic paint by Shannon Ratajski. Some pedals are painted by the Ratajski children. Powdercoating and screenprinting for pedals sold through dealers are done locally by Juxtaprints.
There are alternative mods for this pedal – please contact us. This is the standard Demon for sale
- FEEDBACK MOD – via a momentary or latching footswitch connected to a feedback pot, one can feed the signal back upon itself for oscillation/feedback/noise. In The Demon, depending on your input signal and tone/drive settings, one can tune feedback to a pitch. Please note that buffered pedals and/or too many pedals placed in line before The Demon will negate the feedback mod.
- GATE/BOOST MOD – via a latching footswitch, one can harshly gate and boost the signal for a very aggressive, nasty sound.
- KILLSWITCH MOD – via a momentary footswitch, one can mute the sound passing through the pedal. Hit it rhythmically to a tempo or sporadically. Get weird with it.
- 2nd DRIVE MOD – via a latching footswitch, one can switch back and forth between two (2) drive pots. Think of it as having two drive presets and using a footswitch to move back and forth between the two. Please note that the 2nd Drive is not stacking.
