The Keeley Caverns V2 puts two of the most useful time-based effects on one compact pedalboard. Delay and reverb, with a genuinely well-considered control layout and independent footswitches for each section.
It’s the kind of pedal that earns a permanent spot at the end of a board because it does two things well rather than ten things adequately.
The delay side uses Keeley’s Magnetic Echo circuit . This is an analogue tape delay emulation running up to 650ms. Three-way modulation gives clean repeats with no modulation; Light modulation for gentle wow and flutter; or Deep modulation for lo-fi tape sim. Perfectly voiced for sitting in a band mix whether you’re running clean or with distortion.
The reverb side has three distinctly different characters:
- Shimmer mode adds octave-up voices into the reverb trails — ethereal and expansive, particularly effective at longer Decay settings and for ambient playing.
- Spring mode replicates a Blackface amplifier spring reverb with an F-style tremolo effect applied via the Rate control — classic and characterful without being a simple simulation.
- Modulated mode adds choral modulation to the reverb for a wide, moving, cavernous ambience. The Rate control in this mode adjusts depth and pre-delay rather than tremolo speed.
The V2 brings a more open and logical control layout compared to the original Caverns, with more space between the footswitches and top-mounted jacks for a compact pedalboard installation. True Bypass or Trails mode is selectable — Trails allows the reverb and delay to continue fading naturally after bypass rather than cutting off abruptly.
Two TRS breakout cables allow the Caverns V2 to integrate into a pro switching system as two independent effects, with all internal DIP switches in the up position and effect order switched to the right.

Version 2 is Even Better!
The New Caverns Delay Reverb V2 builds on the old Caverns pedal by giving players a more open and logical control layout with more space between the foot switches.
Top-Mounted Jacks allow for a compact pedalboard layout.
True-Bypass or Trails option gives you the freedom to create huge caverns of sounds and lets them ring out even after you turn the pedal off. Our buffers are engineered to retain your tone and to feed your amplifier a full-strength signal.
Keeley’s veteran crew builds the most reliable and road-worthy gear.
Use 2 TRS Breakout cables for effects patching or to use the Caverns with a pro switching system.

FAQs
Shimmer, Spring and Modulated. Shimmer as you would expect but adds octave up; Spring simulates classic Fender amp style reverb and Modulated adds choral modulation to the reverb tails.
In Shimmer mode it adjusts the feedback blend. In Spring mode it controls the tremolo rate. In Modulated mode it adjusts the depth and pre-delay of the choral modulation.
Off giving clean unmodulated tape style repeats. Light introduces subtle wow and flutter. Deep gives a heavily modulated lo-fi tape character.
Yes. They are independently switchable
Internal DIP switches allow you to select true bypass or trails mode for each section independently.
Yes, using the two TRS breakouts.
It can be, although supplied in trails mode. An internal DIP switch can set it to True Bypass if needed.
