Mantic Hulk
Subharmonic booster in a small footprint
How low can you go? Undertones, which are a type of harmonics below your fundamental note to really fatten up your sound.
One small point, we suspect most online demo won’t do this justice as producing sub-bass off of a laptop, is a bit of a big ask!
With a subharmonic generator, you can extend the bottom end in a way that fattens up the sound of sub bass. You’ll be able to hear the results most clearly if you’re listening to a speaker system with a subwoofer.
Bigger sound, smaller box! The Mantic Effects Hulk is an update on our very popular Density Hulk subharmonic synth , which – gave more than a nod to the 1995 DOD Meatbox and DBX BoomBox.
More cleanly voiced that the Meatbox, Mantic’s Hulk offers a dry channel too.
So, this delivers super low frequency bass from a small but powerful box.
The max output volume has been increased.
The controls have been streamlined to save space, as most people only used the 30hz and 60hz controls as “set and forget”. They are still accessible, however, via internal trimpots. The default setting for both is max.
An internal switch allows the footswitch to act as a “kill dry”. This feature is for users who desire to run sub direct to FOH but don’t want their uneffected signal to pass when the pedal is disengaged.
