The OBNE Procession is a modulated reverb. It has a three-position modulation switch that adds Flange, Filter, or Tremolo to the reverb trails.
The result is a reverb that moves and breathes rather than simply fading out. It’s the kind of reverb that works as an effect in its own right rather than simple ambience.
The Hold footswitch is the feature that makes the Procession particularly useful for ambient and post-rock playing.
Pressing and holding it sustains the current reverb trail indefinitely — as long as the Hold switch is held, the reverb sustains. If the Mix control is set below 100% wet, you can continue playing over the sustained reverb while holding it. Expression pedal control over Speed or Reverb level is available via an internal switch selection.
