Old Blood Noise Endeavors Visitor
The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Visitor is another incredible and innovative product from OBNE.
The complexities of running modulations in parallel inspired the creation and the development of the Visitor.
It has three different primary modulation options – tremolo, chorus, and phaser, and two parallel secondary modulation options being tremolo and chorus.
The Visitor immediately inspires new sounds in a single pedal format.
For instance, the inspiring thing is that these are parallel effects rather than a series, “daisy chain”, type of config.
Further strangeness occurs with the delay offset of the secondary modulation and the way the secondary rate and the primary depth interact.
The Visitor creates sounds that are constantly moving, like complex waves tumbling over one another.
The sound produced ranges from the normal phase chorus and tremolo effect to something more unworldly as the second channel modulation is brought into play.
Visitor features:
-
Primary modulation switchable between tremolo, chorus, and phaser
-
Secondary modulation switchable between tremolo and chorus
-
Rate and Depth controls for primary modulation
-
Secondary knob to control depth, rate, and delay offset of secondary modulation
-
Regen control for master feedback
-
Master mix control
-
Expression control over Secondary knob
-
Relay bypass switching and standard 9VDC centre negative power
Controls:
PRIMARY SWITCH: Selects tremolo, chorus or phaser
SECONDARY SWITCH: Selects tremolo or chorus
RATE: Sets primary modulation rate
DEPTH: Sets primary modulation depth – shallow to deep
SECONDARY: Overall controls for secondary modulation
REGEN: Controls overall feedback
Pedals are set to unity gain, and can be tweaked, using an internal pot, if required
Requires 9V DC centre negative power supply and draws approx 46ma
